Bill was born in Chicago in 1957, and was raised reading and dreaming the stories of the western frontier as seen through the eyes of authors Zane Grey, Will James and others.

He moved to Prescott, Arizona after graduating from Northern Arizona University and began to seriously think of making a living by painting authentic scenes of the never-to-be-forgotten "Old West Cowboy".

Though Bill makes no claim to being a Cowboy, he has gone on several roundups and constantly studies the modern day Cowboy as he goes about his difficult and demanding work.

Southwest Decor has acquired all of the remaining Limited Editions of the three sketches shown below.  These are individually  numbered and signed by Bill Anton. When these are gone there are no more.  This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a Limited Edition Pencil Sketch of a part of disappearing Americana.
